The office of Dr. Hardy is one that values our patients!  We realize that without our patients, we would not be here.

Our goal is to provide exemplary services to our patients. We do not compromise necessary treatment.  We also are conservative in treatment planning - doing absolutely what is necessary, but not trying to sell treatment(s) that is/are not necessary.

What this means is that we do not bring patients into our practice to hand them a treatment plan estimating thousands of dollars for replacing fillings that do not need to be replaced, selling veneers and crowns when the service is considered elective rather than necessary.

Our practice is NOT a "cattle-car" operation, meaning that we do not rely on pushing as many patients through the door as possible to make money.  We have chosen to use a personal approach - taking the time necessary to treat each patient based on their individual needs. We take pride in remembering our patients - ours is a friendly, appreciative practice.

PlanMeca ProMax Panoramic and Cone X-ray Unit

We are very pleased to be one of the few offices in Arizona to own the new state-of-the-art PlanMeca ProMax Panoramic and Cone X-ray machine.

Our new machine takes "Pano" films, but because of advanced technology, the machine is calibrated so that this X-ray truly replaces the tooth-by-tooth intraoral (inside the mouth) series that was previously used in dentistry. NO MORE SHARP, GAGGING FILMS IN THE MOUTH!

The beauty of this machine is that the patient is exposed to an extremely small amount of radiation - both direct and scatter radiation. Also, unlike other existing units, this machine can provide diagnostic imaging that will allow the dentist to minimize the need for X-rays that were previously necessary for a thorough exam.

Existing pano machines do provide a picture of the entire lower face structure, however they severely blur the crowns of the teeth together making diagnosis of parts of the tooth crowns (the part of the teeth that are exposed in the mouth) impossible.  Additionally, with older machines, the picture provided for diagnosis of bone structure is not clinically possible for periodontal disease (gum disease) and other necessary views of bone levels.

Sterilization Equipment and Techniques

Our office uses the very latest and best sterilization equipment and techniques. We are diligent in making certain that patients and staff alike are safe from any type of contamination.

We are proud of our office!  While we have made the conscious decision to concentrate financially on those things that most benefit our patients - i.e. the best equipment and the highest standard of care, we are pleased with our Southwestern theme. Patient feedback suggests that our office is comfortable and has a "homelike" feel.

Every licensed dentist and hygienist is required by the State of Arizona to earn continuing education credits each year.

However, we do seek those courses, reports and studies that truly enrich our knowledge in the newest equipment, ideas, and approaches to dentistry. We take growing with the industry seriously!
